LAPD works on a diverse range of project types, including:Public realm and landscape lighting Hospitality and hotel environmentsCommercial and retail developmentsCultural, museum, and gallery spacesLuxury residential propertiesRole DescriptionContract Lighting Designer - Remote, Based in IndonesiaAs a Contract/Freelance Lighting Designer, you will support international project teams to develop and implement innovative lighting design solutions. You will participate in concept development, lighting calculations, detailed technical drawings, and visual presentations across a variety of project scales.Main ResponsibilitiesPerform lighting calculations and simulations using Dialux / ReluxCreate lighting layouts and technical drawings in AutoCAD / RevitDevelop conceptual design visuals and presentations using Photoshop / InDesignEnsure compliance with industry standards, lighting guidelines, and sustainability practicesCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve both aesthetic and functional goalsAssist in the integration of lighting controls and smart lighting strategiesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field (preferred)Experience in architectural lighting for interior, exterior, and landscape environmentsStrong understanding of lighting standards, sustainable design principles, and fixture specificationsExcellent collaboration and communication skills for remote teamworkGood written and verbal English skills • Proficiency in design and technical drawing softwares: - Dialux evo (lighting calculations) - AutoCAD (technical drawings) - Revit (BIM) - highly desirable – Photoshop / InDesign (presentations & visuals)
