The opportunityIVRS (Integration, Verification, Release and Support) is a department within GI MACH, working with securing the quality of the MACH platform, the brain of the HVDC station. We are responsible for verification of the MACH Platform towards high level requirements and for releasing the platform to our customers. We are also responsible for making sure that our customers, mostly internal, get the support they need.How You Will Make An ImpactLead and develop a team of 12–18 professionals responsible for building and maintaining the Software FactoryEnsure the team is adequately resourced, trained, and aligned with business needsFoster a culture of engagement, motivation, and continuous developmentDrive compliance with company policies, values, and relevant regulationsSupport the team in achieving operational excellence and meeting strategic objectivesCollaborate across functions to optimize processes and implement best practicesMonitor team performance and implement improvements for efficiency and qualityRepresent the team in organizational planning and decision-makingYour BackgroundM.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering or a related technical fieldProven leadership experience in managing technical teams; experience in team start-up is a plusSolid understanding of software development lifecycles and familiarity with Software Factory principlesExperience with Azure DevOps, Test Automation, and virtual verification environmentsStrong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration across global teamsFluent in English; Swedish is an advantage but not requiredHitachi Energy is a global technology leader in electrification, powering a sustainable energy future through innovative power grid technologies with digital at the core.
