Job Title: Line Manager (Intra Asia Trade Manager) Salary: Negotiable Work Location: District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.Job OverviewThis position plays a key role in developing and managing intra-Asia trade lanes, focusing on sales, business development, and operational setup. The role will work closely with the Deputy Forwarding to establish sales and operational processes for the forwarding business and will coordinate with the headquarters to align pricing, cost calculation, and customer quotations.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage the Intra-Asia trade lane to maximize volume and profitability.Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, feeders, and large forwarders.Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth booking and after-sales support.Conduct pricing analysis, cost calculation, and report pricing rates to HQ for total cost evaluation and customer quotations.Identify new routes, cargo flow trends, and growth opportunities across Southeast Asia.Monitor transshipment and feeder bookings in HCMC.Support the setup of forwarding sales and operations under the logistics business unit.RequirementsMust-Have:Excellent English communication skills.Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or operations within large forwarders or international carriers.Proven experience in handling intra-Asia trade lanes and pricing structures.Strong network with shipping lines and large forwarders.Capable of managing both commercial and operational activities.Good analytical skills with experience in forecasting, budgeting, and P&L ownership.Nice-to-Have:1–2 years in a Line Manager or similar leadership position.Previous experience in a trade management role at a shipping line.Familiarity with intra-Asia cargo flow and logistics trends.Company OverviewThe employer is an established global logistics group expanding its forwarding operations in Vietnam.
