Reviewing KYC documentation submitted by clients to complete Customer Due Diligence (CDD) file assessments. Verifying corporate documents to determine beneficial ownership structures. Coordinating with internal teams to gather additional or outstanding documentation. Performing screening for PEPs, sanctions, and adverse media on relevant entities. Carrying out regular KYC reviews for existing client accounts. Handling internal queries related to the matter onboarding and acceptance process. Staying up to date with regulatory changes to ensure continued compliance with KYC obligations. Maintaining internal databases and conducting research using public registers. Updating and managing compliance registers, and generating reports as needed. The Candidate:
2 years+ previous experience within a KYC role ideally within a professional services environment. Experience with KYC related to legal entities (businesses rather than individuals) Strong knowledge of KYC obligations and regulations. Good understanding of expectations surrounding AML and sanctions. Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate and liaise effectively. The ability to prioritise workloads and work on multiple projects simultaneously. Produce high standards of work. Work as part of a team to deliver all projects on time. High level of proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
