About the RoleOur client, a leading law firm, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Advocate to join their dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess solid courtroom experience and a proven track record in bank recovery, environmental law, land disputes, and constitutional litigation. This role offers an opportunity to handle complex and high-profile cases while contributing to the firm’s continued reputation for legal excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in the High Court, Environment & Land Court, Court of Appeal, and other judicial forums.Prepare and file pleadings, affidavits, written submissions, and other court documents.Advise clients—particularly banks and financial institutions—on debt recovery strategies, securities enforcement, and regulatory compliance.Handle environmental and land-related disputes, including ownership, boundary, and environmental impact cases.Prepare and argue constitutional petitions and judicial review applications.Provide sound legal opinions and strategies on complex legal issues.Engage in negotiations, mediations, and out-of-court settlements where appropriate.Conduct legal research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and precedents.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders.Prepare regular progress reports and case updates for clients and partners.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from a recognized university.Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.Admitted Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a valid practicing certificate.5–10 years of post-admission experience in active litigation.Demonstrated expertise in bank recovery, environmental law, land matters, and constitutional petitions.Strong legal drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.High professional integrity and the ability to work independently.LL.M. or specialized certification in Environmental, Commercial, or Constitutional Law will be an added advantage.Key CompetenciesStrong understanding of civil procedure and substantive law.Exceptional research and problem-solving ability.Confident and persuasive courtroom presence.Strategic thinker with sound judgment and attention to detail.Client-focused with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.Team player with a commitment to professional growth and excellence.How to ApplyInterested candidates are invited to send their applications on LinkedIn or email their CV to hr@pinnaclehrhub.comOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
