About the RoleWorking closely with colleagues across the Litigation team the successful candidate will enjoy challenging and high profile work. You will be responsible for dealing with day to day matters and workloads in the BVI litigation practice of the firm, working closely with senior management in the BVI office, as well as globally, to develop the litigation and insolvency practice.EXPERIENCEWhat You BringThe successful candidate's qualifications and experience should include: Between 4-5 years' post qualification experienceHighly relevant advocacy experience in complex international commercial litigation, contentious cross-border insolvency and/or restructuring matters from a recognised leading law firm in a major onshore or offshore jurisdiction or chambersHigher Rights of Audience qualification and experienceDemonstrated negotiation, legal research and strategy development skillsOutstanding drafting and technical skillsA strong academic backgroundA proven ability to provide timely and commercial advice to clientsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsThe ability to work as part of a team, lead and supervise junior associates and take an active part in sharing knowledge and experience within the team This post also requires significant attention to detail, professionalism, ability to multi-task, and excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
