Our mission is to move cargo efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively — connecting businesses to the world.We are currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator – Air & Sea Freight (Exports) to support our growing operations team and ensure the seamless coordination of international shipments from origin to destination. Position OverviewThe Logistics Coordinator is responsible for organizing, tracking, and monitoring international freight shipments. This role involves coordinating with airlines, ocean carriers, customs brokers, and clients to ensure smooth movement of goods through global supply chains while maintaining compliance with trade and transport regulations. Key ResponsibilitiesShipment CoordinationPlan, book, and monitor air and ocean freight shipments from pickup to delivery.Prepare and verify all shipping documents including air waybills, bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.Track and trace shipments daily, updating clients proactively on status and delays.Coordinate consolidations, transshipments, and container drayage as required.Carrier and Client CommunicationLiaise directly with airlines, shipping lines, freight agents, customs brokers, and truckers.Provide accurate freight quotations, confirm bookings.Maintain continuous communication with customers, ensuring expectations are met and service standards exceeded.Compliance & DocumentationEnsure shipments comply with IATA (air), IMO (sea), and CBSA/CBP regulations.Verify HS codes, Incoterms, and customs documentation for accuracy and compliance.Maintain detailed shipment files and input all updates into the Transportation Management System (TMS). Financial & ReportingSupport billing by reviewing carrier invoices, verifying freight charges, and approving costs.Collaborate with the finance team on vendor invoice reconciliation. Qualifications & SkillsEducation & Experience:Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or Business (preferred).1-3 years of experience in air and/or ocean freight forwarding operations.Working knowledge of Incoterms 2020, IATA Dangerous Goods, customs clearance procedures, and trade documentation.Technical Skills:Proficiency with TMS software (CargoWise, Magaya, or similar).Intermediate to advanced MS Excel and document management skills.Familiarity with carrier e-portals, CBSA/ACE filing systems, and freight tracking tools.Soft Skills:Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients and vendors.Ability to multitask and manage multiple time-sensitive shipments.High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
