Job Title: Logistics CoordinatorLocation: Sherwood Park, AlbertaJob Type: Full-TimeIndustry: Cannabis Processing & ManufacturingAbout Us:We are a small, dynamic cannabis processing company located just outside Sherwood Park, Alberta. Our in-house manufacturing team produces high-quality cannabis products, which are distributed through select partners and medical channels across Canada. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support our growing operations.Position Summary:The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of our supply chain. You’ll manage inventory, oversee procurement of materials, assist in production scheduling, and coordinate logistics with our distribution partners. This role bridges operations and supply chain, requiring hands-on attention to detail and a proactive approach.Key Responsibilities:Inventory & Supply Chain ManagementMaintain accurate inventory records of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods using inventory management softwarePerform regular inventory counts and reconciliationsMonitor stock levels and proactively reorder supplies to avoid shortages or overstockReceive, inspect, and track incoming shipments of materialsProcurementSource and order raw materials, packaging, and operational supplies from approved vendorsBuild relationships with suppliers and manage purchase orders and delivery timelinesTrack procurement budgets and assist in cost control measuresProduction SupportCollaborate with the production team to forecast material needs based on production plansSupport daily and weekly production schedulingEnsure timely availability of materials and resources to support production runsLogistics & DistributionCoordinate outgoing shipments with distribution partners and medical channelsPrepare necessary documentation for shipments in accordance with Health Canada regulationsTrack and report on order fulfillment and logistics performanceCompliance & DocumentationMaintain accurate records for inventory, procurement, and distribution activitiesEnsure adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements, including those set by Health CanadaAssist with audits and inspections as neededQualifications:3+ years experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory coordination, with specific experience working for a cannabis licensed producerFamiliarity with inventory management and basic ERP systemsStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated environmentStrong communication and collaboration skillsKnowledge of cannabis industry regulations is a strong assetMust be eligible to work in Canada and able to obtain/maintain security clearance if requiredWhy Join Us?Opportunity to grow within a small but fast-growing companyWork in an innovative and emerging industryBe part of a collaborative team that values quality and compliance
