You’ll work with sensitive biological products in a highly controlled setting, ensuring safety and precision every step of the way.As a Logistics Employee, You WillReceive biological products (such as blood bags or viral vectors) in a temperature-controlled environment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.Process inventory receipts accurately, matching them to purchase orders and verifying quality checks, approval documentation, and compliance with company regulations.Handle materials at very low temperatures safely, ensuring proper storage and monitoring.Perform Inspection checks on incoming materials, including unloading shipments, checking temperatures, verifying product integrity, and completing all necessary documentation.Fill out necessary forms for receiving, picking, and outbound activities.Collaborate closely with our Operations and Quality departments to support Production and Laboratory activities.Maintain a clean and organized work environment, wearing designated clothes as required for safety and hygiene.Use SAP systems to process transactions related to inbound, picking, and outbound shipments.CompanyOur client, a biotech company based in Zwijnaarde, is a global biotechnology firm bringing innovative CAR-T cell therapy to Ghent. Through this work, they make a daily difference in the lives of many patients suffering from cancer and other life-threatening diseases.They are currently in a phase of significant growth and are looking for motivated and dedicated team members.ProfileWe Are Looking For YouYou have relevant experience within logistics/warehouse and a strong affinity to the pharmaceutical environment. You have a keen eye for detail and enjoy handling administrative tasks, such as filling out forms and logbooks, and you’re committed to staying up-to-date with regular training.You speak fluent English.You have the ability to communicate effectively and you are a true teamplayer.You are a problem solver and have strong analytical skills.You follow the procedures strictly to ensure both product quality and personal health & safety are followed at all times. OfferYou will enter the fascinating world of biotechnology in a strong and respectful, diverse team in which everyone is welcome.A competitive salary and meal vouchers of €7/day.You will work in a shift system with a 4-day work, 4-day off schedule, ensuring a good balance between work and personal life.You'lle work in a 2-shift regime but, you must be comfortable working across all Five of these shifts. 6 AM to 4 PM, 10 AM to 8 PM, 12 PM to 10 PM, 2 PM to 12 AM and 4PM tot 02 AM.After six months, depending on your performance, there is the chance for a permanent contract, along with benefits like group and health insurance.An international and inclusive work environment where everyone speaks English.
