Submit your resume and cover letter today!ResponsibilitiesThis internship will have one of two tracks: Order Fulfillment or TransportationOrder Fulfillment Track:Work closely with our Customer Solutions team and retail store locations to enhance our customers' ordering experienceAssess incoming customer orders and determine the most efficient fulfillment methodsProvide friendly and empathetic communication, primarily through email, to customers on the status of their ordersAssist in problem solving to satisfy customer order requirements and execute strategic solutionsCommunicate with internal and external sources, specifically with our vendors, distribution centers, and purchasing department, to ensure effective order fulfilmentAssist with entering purchase orders for customized and special order itemsMonitor expedited shipping ordersCoordinate with our retail store locations to complete online pickup ordersOffer suggestions and methods to improve delivery and order fulfillmentTransportation Track:Work directly with carriers to resolve shipping issues that occur with ground and common carrier shipmentsMake and execute decisions regarding the delivery needs of customer ordersProvide friendly assistance to our customers and keep them updated on the status of their ordersWork closely with our Customer Solutions team and our retail store locations to enhance our customers' shopping experienceFile and manage carrier damage claimsCoordinate and schedule common carrier pickupsLog and analyze freight invoicesMonitor expedited shipping orders to ensure they deliver timelyOffer suggestions and methods to improve deliveryPhysical RequirementsWork is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.ExperiencePast industry experience is helpful but not required for this position.EducationThis role does not require a degree.
