Employment TypeRegular Full TimeContractual hoursFull-timeFunctionPRODUCTION & OPERATIONS - SUPPLY-CHAINJob DescriptionYour responsibilities:ResponsibilitiesAs a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the entire supply chain in the company. Your responsibilities will m.in include:Planning and optimization of logistics processes: design, implementation and improvement of logistics strategies aimed at maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs.Resource management: planning the needs in terms of resources (human, technical, material) necessary for the timely and effective implementation of logistics tasks.Warehouse management: supervision of inventory processes, reporting inventory levels and ensuring optimal inventory levels.Ensuring timely and complete deliveries: coordinating transport and distribution to guarantee customers deliveries in line with their expectations.Team management: effective management of a subordinate team, comprising about 40 people, setting priorities, delegating tasks, motivating and developing employees.Safety and compliance: responsibility for health and safety and operational compliance with laws and industry standards.Cross-departmental collaboration and reporting: Work closely with sales, purchasing, marketing, and other departments to keep business processes running smoothly and continuously. You will also directly report to the General Director, having a real impact on the company's strategic decisions.Skills: what we expect of youOur RequirementsWe are looking for a person with experience, who will perfectly fit into the logistics environment and has:Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position, including team management.Thorough knowledge of issues and procedures in the field of logistics and warehouse management, including warehousing, transport and inventory management processes, as well as related regulations.Higher education (preferred majors: logistics, management, economics).Strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively organize their own and the team's work, prioritize tasks and make decisions.Leadership and interpersonal skills: the ability to organize work independently, motivate the team, build business relationships with service providers.Goal-oriented and flexible in adapting to change.Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and experience in working with ERP systems.Good knowledge of EnglishVery good knowledge of Polish.CompanyVILMORIN JARDINPosition localizationJob locationEurope, PolandLocationSzkolna 30, Plewiska, PologneCandidate criteriaMinimum Level Of Education RequiredMaster's degreeMinimum Level Of Experience Required2 years or moreLanguagesPolish (3 - Professional)RequesterPosition start date01/12/2025
