Join Roche, where every voice matters.The PositionWe are looking for a Logistics Operations Specialist at Roche Diagnostics.About The RoleAt Roche Diagnostics Turkey, the Logistics Operations Specialist plays a strategic role in the end-to-end management of logistics processes.This position is responsible not only for executing daily operations but also for driving efficiency, system accuracy, digital transformation, and a culture of continuous improvement.The role supports Roche’s operational excellence vision across 3PL management, SAP integration, inventory optimization, transportation non-conformance management, sustainability, and budget control.Key Responsibilities:Operational Excellence & System AccuracySystematically monitor inbound and outbound operations, ensuring data accuracy between SAP and 3PL systemsIdentify transportation or SAP-related issues, create tickets to the global support team, and manage resolution through IT or other stakeholders (e.g., e-invoice partners)Analyze inventory discrepancies and manage return or disposal processes as requiredConduct monthly stock counts with 3PL, verify system accuracy for occupied and empty locations, and coordinate annual count preparationsEnsure full compliance of logistics operations with GDP, SHE, environmental, and quality standards (Roche Global Standards & MQMS)Manage waste and disposal processes in line with Roche’s environmental sustainability principlesInventory & Warehouse ManagementAnalyze slow-moving inventory to maintain optimal stock levels and proactively manage shelf-life control and disposal planningPerform stock corrections and improvement actions, ensuring location-based optimization in line with fluctuating sales volumesOversee physical destruction activities and coordinate the preparation of quarantined materials for disposalTransportation & Network OptimizationCollaborate closely with 3PL partners on vehicle capacity and network optimization to improve efficiencySupport the preparation of distribution plans and city-based delivery schedulesEnhance operational efficiency and cost effectiveness in transportation flowsDigitalization & Process ImprovementUtilize digital tools such as SAP, Power BI, and Tableau to measure performance and identify improvement opportunitiesActively contribute to automation, data integrity, and system integration projectsFoster a continuous improvement mindset and support the implementation of Lean methodologiesCollaboration & Stakeholder ManagementBuild strong cross-functional collaboration with global, regional, and local stakeholders (Order Management, Finance, Quality, IT, 3PL, etc.)Support transparent information flow between global and local processes to ensure operational visibilityActively participate in regional and global logistics projects (e.g., process harmonization, 3PL transition, SAP EWM rollout)Reporting, Analysis & Performance ManagementPrepare monthly operational KPI reports and reconcile findings with 3PL data to identify gapsTrack logistics performance indicators (KPIs), perform root cause analyses, and develop improvement plansGenerate actionable insights from operational data to support strategic planningPrepare stock level, disposal, and shipment reports, providing analytical support where neededFinancial & Budget ManagementCommunicate material requirements to the procurement team via ERP (operational purchases, disposal, packaging, pallets, etc.)Manage related logistics (OPEX) budgets and verify all service invoices for approvalIdentify and report cost efficiency opportunities to managementWho You AreBachelor’s degree in a relevant fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics Operations, or Inventory ControlPreferably experienced in Diagnostics or Pharmaceutical distribution sectorsProficient in SAP (MM & E-WM), Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and PowerPointStrong command of English, both written and spokenExperienced in SAP interfaces, and capable of managing e-invoice and e-waybill integrationsSolid knowledge of warehouse operations (3PL management experience is an asset)Analytical thinker with strong communication and problem-solving skillsAble to collaborate effectively across multiple departments within the supply chainAvailable to work on-site 5 days per week at the Tuzla DHL Asya 1 facilityWho we areA healthier future drives us to innovate.
