Job Description

Position Purpose: A logistics specialist is responsible for the oversight of the life cycle of products, including preparation, shipping and receiving. They offer support with the maintenance of administer and maintain inventory control program systems and coordinate with production and customer service team to promote accurate and timely processing of orders for customers. Additionally, logistics specialists develop reports showing transportation costs on precise projects and moves.Principle Accountabilities/Essential Functions:Arrange shipments via sea, air, or express; coordinate with freight forwarders and carriers; track shipments and resolve delaysLiaise with forwarders/carriers for shipment arrangements to ensure punctual deliveryPrepare and review invoices, packing lists, B/L, COO, and other trade documents; ensure compliance with international trade documentation standardsUnderstand import/export regulations and tariff codes (HS code); accurately file customs declarations; manage duties, taxes, and preferential trade agreementsFamiliar with INCOTERMS and trade terms; knowledge of restricted and prohibited goods; understand country-specific import/export requirementsHandle shipment discrepancies or damaged goods; manage urgent orders or customs holdsOperate Vietnam eCustoms platform and related logistics systemsVerify freight invoices to ensure accurate billing from carriersProvide assistance for maintaining logistics planning tasksScan orders into the system and track shipments across multiple channelsApprove time sheets associated with deliveries and pick-upsSupport with maintenance of logistics policies, procedures, support plans, and similar dataManage and monitor the performance of entire fleet, routing, and scheduling planningOversee the day-to-day operation of assigned logistics functions, ensuring operational efficiencyCoordinate with in-house customer service and sales administration team to promote accurate and timely order processingAssist in the preparation of statistical data for KPI reporting and analysisPerform other ad-hoc activities as assigned by superiorQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business (preferred)Higher diploma / above in Logistics and Supply Chain or equivalentMinimum 3 years previous experience in logistics management or coordination and at least 2 years working at manufacturing companiesWorking knowledge of PC computer systems and cargo management softwareProficiency in Microsoft Office programs - Excel, Word, Power point & OutlookGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication and time management skillsWell-developed motivational and leadership skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWell-organized, proactive, independent and self-motivated.Language Skills:Language: Fluent Vietnamese & English.
