Logistics Specialist Last Mile

Receive supply orders from the Sales team.Review order quantities in the system to ensure product availability in warehousesVerify that all supply orders are approved for release by the Finance department.Plan, optimize, and schedule daily delivery routes for fleet and contracted vehicles, considering shipment priorities, traffic conditions, and customer locations.Develop routing plans based on available quantities and vehicles to ensure on-time deliveries at the lowest possible cost in coordination with the Sales team.Continuously improve route planning processes using performance data and analytical tools.Coordinate with shipping coordinators to resolve delivery-related issues.Track vehicle movements and proactively address delays or deviations from the delivery plan.Ensure receiving representatives submit delivery notes to the Finance department daily, including outsourced transport documentation.Ensure supply orders from Sales match sales order quantities and specifications.Review job orders sent to external suppliers for accurate monthly reconciliation.Coordinate monthly with the supervisor of LogisticsCoordinators to confirm that shipments were dispatched through approved transport companies at agreed rates.Communicate daily with transport vendors to obtain competitive quotations for required quantities and delivery locations.Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising service quality.Maintain accurate records of route plans, delivery logs, fuel usage, and fleet performance (if applicable).Prepare reports on logistics KPIs and propose improvement actions to enhance efficiency and service levels.Support in inventory transfers between sites when necessaryBachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 2–4 years of experience in logistics or transport planning roles.Proficiency in route planning software is a plus.Strong knowledge of local geography and road networks.Familiar with fleet management and GPS tracking system.Good command of MS Excel and logistics planning tools
