Logistics Specialist

ProGnosis Biotech, a rapidly growing and innovative company in the biotechnology sector, is seeking a dynamic and well-organized Logistics Specialist to join our team in Thessaloniki.THE ROLE:As a Logistics Specialist, you will monitor and manage inventory, liaise with suppliers and carriers, and record and analyze supply-chain data. Accuracy, consistency, and cross-functional collaboration are essential. This role is critical to the smooth operation of our supply chain, ensuring the efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods and strengthening collaboration between production, suppliers, and warehouses.RESPONSIBILITIES:Supply Chain & Inventory ManagementMonitor and record inbound and outbound materialsUpdate and manage the ERP system (PYLON or equivalent)Coordinate with suppliers for deliveries, orders, and returnsCheck inventory availability and real-time reportingWarehousing & TransportationOrganize storage areas and track efficiencyCommunicate with carriers for domestic and international shipmentsEnsure compliance with safety and quality standards (ISO, GMP, etc.)Reporting & OptimizationPrepare logistics performance reportsContribute to the optimization of internal processesAnalyze operational data and propose improvementsREQUIREMENTSUniversity degree (BSc/BA) in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related fields2–4 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in an industrial environmentExcellent knowledge of MS Excel and strong general computer skillsExperience with ERP systems (ideally PYLON)Good command of English (written and spoken); knowledge of a second or third language is a plusWE WILL APPRECIATE IT IF YOU HAVE:Strong organization and prioritizationAttention to detail and reliabilityAbility to collaborate and communicate across multiple departmentsInitiative, analytical thinking, and a drive for continuous improvementResilience in a demanding, fast-paced work environmentWHAT WE OFFER:Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience and qualificationsModern and pleasant working environmentOngoing support and professional development opportunitiesParticipation in a rapidly growing sectorAll applications will be treated with strict confidentiality.
