Job Description

YOUR ROLE: Logistics Specialist – Supply ChainCost Optimization & Freight SavingsAnalyze land, air, and ocean freight rates to generate continuous savings.Negotiate with carriers, freight forwarders, and consolidators.Implement alternative routes, cross-docking, consolidation, and multimodal strategies to improve logistics efficiency.Track and report KPIs such as cost per kilo, cost per lane, and monthly rate variations.Define and recommend appropriate Incoterms by project, customer, and transportation lane.Manage FTL, LTL, ocean, air, courier, hand-carry, consolidated, and multimodal shipments.Coordinate pickups, ETAs/ETDs, cargo releases, and final deliveries.Monitor logistics risks and responsibilities according to Incoterms at every transportation stage.Coordinate daily operations with customs brokers in Mexico, the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia.Validate import and export documentation: commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping instructions, and certificates of origin (USMCA).Review HS codes, regulations, and applicable trade restrictions.Support internal and external audits related to international trade compliance.IMMEX Program SupportEnsure transportation and customs documentation complies with IMMEX requirements.Prevent fines, penalties, or non-compliance issues through proactive monitoring and control.This position is based in our office in Zapopan, MexicoYOUR PROFILE: Strategic Logistics SpecialistYou have a Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business, or a related field.Experience2 to 5 years of experience in international logistics, multimodal transportation, or foreign trade.Experience in IMMEX or automotive environments is a strong plus.SkillsStrong negotiation and cost-saving mindset.Ability to solve problems and prioritize under pressure.Effective communication with carriers, brokers, suppliers, and internal customers.Analytical thinking focused on efficiency and savings.Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of Incoterms **** and multimodal transportation (land, air, and ocean).Experience managing international shipments and documentation (B/L, AWB, Carta Porte, invoice, packing list).Knowledge of customs regulations and IMMEX operations.Experience with SAP (MM, SD, LE) for purchase orders, deliveries, material movements, and reporting.Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, filters, and data analysis).KPI tracking such as OTD, cost per route, and shipment status.LanguagesFluent Spanish and English, written and spoken.What can conTeyor offer you?We offer the opportunity to join an international supply chain organization where logistics efficiency, cost control, and customer service are critical to business success.A professional and collaborative working environment.Direct involvement in international trade and global logistics operations.Opportunities to lead savings and optimization projects.Continuous learning and career development.A competitive compensation and benefits package.Excited?Join our team today!Please send your resumein Englishto both Marcelo Valdivieso, Sr.Regional HR Manager North America via ****** and Alejandra Miramontes, HR Specialist Mexico via ******.#J-*****-Ljbffr
