Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Lighting Designer with a strong design vision and technical proficiency to join our creative team.
This role involves leading projects from concept to completion, mentoring junior designers, and representing Luxitecture in client and consultant meetings. You’ll play a key role in shaping lighting strategies and ensuring the quality and consistency of our design output. Key ResponsibilitiesLead lighting design projects from concept through to construction, including site visits and commissioningCollaborate with architects, interior designers, and engineers to integrate lighting with architectureDevelop lighting concepts, mood boards, sketches, and presentations for client approvalProduce detailed lighting layouts, specifications, control strategies, and documentationConduct photometric calculations and visualizations using Dialux Evo or Relux.
Coordinate with suppliers to review and select appropriate lighting equipmentManage project timelines, budgets, and team resources effectivelyMentor junior designers and support internal design reviewsEnsure all deliverables meet Luxitecture’s design and quality standards QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related fieldMinimum 5+ years of professional lighting design experience, ideally with a focus on architectural and hospitality projectsStrong knowledge of lighting principles, technologies, control systems, and industry standardsProficiency in AutoCAD, Dialux Evo/Relux, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
