From Hays we are seeking for a M&A Market Research for a multinational automotive company based in MadridAbout the RoleThe successful candidate will act as the analytical and strategic engine of the Partnerships and M&A department, driving growth through data-driven alliances and supporting corporate development initiatives. You will transform high-level opportunities into clear, actionable plans by conducting rigorous analysis, synergy assessments, and operational modelling, while preparing executive-ready presentations for senior leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesMarket & Partner Analysis: Gather and structure relevant data to identify and prioritise strategic partners (Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers and beyond).Synergy Evaluation: Quantify potential benefits such as cost reduction, supply chain resilience, and portfolio extension.Strategic Propositions: Develop clear, creative proposals based on robust analysis.M&A Support: Provide analytical input for potential acquisitions in priority regions.Executive Communication: Deliver high-impact presentations and concise insights for decision-making.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across divisions and functions including engineering, purchasing, supply chain, finance, and legal.Ideal BackgroundEducation: Degree in Engineering.Experience: Proven track record in strategy, corporate development, or business intelligence within the automotive sector.Languages: Mandatory English and other languages are a plus.Skills:Strong analytical capability and attention to detail.Ability to translate data into actionable strategies.Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial/operational modelling) and PowerPoint.Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
