TCS' proactive stance on climate change and award-winning work with communities across the world have earned it a place in leading sustainability indices such as the MSCI Global Sustainability Index and the FTSE4Good Emerging Index.Job Description:Role Description:Design, develop, and deploy highly scalable and reliable identity resolution applications using Java and Apache Spark.Build and fine-tune probabilistic and deterministic matching models using Java-based machine learning libraries and Sparks ML capabilities.Experience in Data Pipeline Engineering using Apache Spark. Create and optimize complex ETL and machine learning data pipelines for batch and streaming data, ensuring efficient data processing and quality.Strong Java Expertise with strong object-oriented programming (OOPS) principles and design patterns in Java to write clean, modular, and maintainable code, leveraging APIs and other interfaces integration knowledge.Performance Optimization and troubleshooting Spark jobs and Java applications for optimal performance, resource utilization, and throughput on large datasets.Experience in working closely with data analysts and cross-functional engineering teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technicalRequired Qualifications:Experience in application development with a significant background in Java and allied data structures, algorithms, design patterns and frameworks.Proven hands-on experience building and deploying complex high data volume applications using Apache Spark, with a strong preference for Java API.Extensive experience with identity resolution, including probabilistic andor deterministic matching techniques.Experience with cloud-based data platforms like Snowlflake,Databricks,BigQuery and managing Spark applications within a cloud environment.Proficiency with SQL and a strong grasp of relational and non-relational databases.Good to have exposure to big data ecosystem components such as Hadoop, Hive, and Kafka.Good to have experience with graph databases (e.g., Neo4j) or graph-based machine learning.Background in know your customer (KYC), identity management or related domain is preferred.Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is committed to meeting the accessibility needs of all individuals in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC).
