About the RoleAs a Smoking Machine Operator, you will play an important role in supporting laboratory testing of tobacco and nicotine products. This is an entry-level position — no prior laboratory experience is required. You will be trained to operate specialized smoking machines used to collect samples for analytical testing.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate smoking and vaping machines according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)Prepare and label samples for analysisLoad and unload tobacco products and collection materialsRecord data accurately and maintain detailed logs of test runsClean, calibrate, and maintain equipment to ensure consistent performanceFollow laboratory safety procedures and quality standardsSupport other lab activities such as sample preparation, storage, and disposalQualificationsPrimary school must be completed, no university education required. No prior lab experience necessary — comprehensive training providedStrong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructionsComfortable working with equipment and performing repetitive tasksBasic computer skills for data entry and reportingAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a regulated environmentWorking ConditionsLaboratory environment with exposure to tobacco and nicotine productsStanding for extended periods while operating machinesShift work may be required depending on lab schedulingCompensation/Schedule:€16–€18 per hourDay or Afternoon/Evening Shifts Available10% Shift Differential for Afternoons/Evenings15% Shift Differential for Weekend Work
