Job Title: Mainframe System Programmer – z/OS / CICSCompany: Ridik CLPSLocation: Manila, PhilippinesExperience Range: 15+ YearsRole Overview:We are seeking a highly experienced Mainframe System Programmer (z/OS/CICS) to lead the installation, customization, and administration of IBM z/OS systems and subsystems. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in CICS, JES2/JES3, system tuning, and performance optimization, along with strong scripting and automation capabilities. This role is pivotal in maintaining system stability, performance, and security across mission-critical enterprise environments.Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain IBM z/OS, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and compliance.Perform CICS system programming, including region setup, customization, tuning, and troubleshooting.Manage batch processing and automation through advanced JCL (Job Control Language) scripting.Utilize SMP/E (System Modification Program/Extended) for maintenance, PTFs, and software upgrades.Administer and enforce system security using RACF (Resource Access Control Facility).Oversee JES2/JES3 spool and job management operations for efficient workload execution.Use TSO/ISPF utilities for daily operational and system management tasks.Conduct system performance monitoring and tuning using RMF, SMF, Omegamon, or equivalent tools.Perform problem determination and dump analysis for abends and critical system incidents.Automate system administration and routine maintenance tasks using REXX and CLIST scripting.Manage mainframe storage (DFSMS, VSAM, HSM) and ensure optimal space utilization.Must-Have Skills & Experience:Minimum 15 years of experience in IBM z/OS system programming.Expertise in CICS, JES2/JES3, SMP/E, RACF, TSO/ISPF, and system tuning.Proven ability to perform system performance analysis, dump analysis, and troubleshooting.Strong REXX/CLIST scripting skills for automation.In-depth knowledge of mainframe storage management (DFSMS, VSAM, HSM).Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.Strong collaboration and leadership abilities in complex enterprise environments.About CLPS RiDiK:RiDiK is a global technology solutions provider and a subsidiary of CLPS Incorporation (NASDAQ: CLPS), delivering cutting-edge end-to-end services across banking, wealth management, and e-commerce.
