Provides skilled repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting and lighting controls, motor controls, and specialized hospital systems such as nurse call, public address, fire alarm, and building automation systems. This position may require flexible scheduling, including varying hours, days, and occasional weekends.EDUCATION:High School Diploma or GED equivalent.EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:Minimum five (5) years experience as a journeyman electrician, with trade school, military service, or equivalent training. Proven experience with computers. Hospital experience preferred.LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:Required:Current California (CA) Driver's LicenseCurrent Journey Level PS certificate issued by City of Los Angeles Dept. of Building and SafetySKILLS:Knowledge of the trade practices and electrical codes, and ability to supervise and train others in their use.Basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.Basic working knowledge of Building Automation System (BAS).Good communication skills and a collaborative problem solver.Worker Type:RegularFull timeShift:DaysLocation:100 W California Blvd Pasadena, CA 91105‎Pay Range: The estimated base rate for this position is $37.00 - $55.50.Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
