Job DescriptionTe Tūranga | About the Role:We’re looking for a motivated and skilled Reliability Electrician to join our engineering team, who are crucial in keeping production running in a challenging, dynamic food production environment. In return, we offer competitive pay rates, OT allowances, and great training and development opportunities.This role is Thursday-Tuesday, 7am to 4pm, with OT available as well as a daily allowance for weekend work.Te Mahi | Key Responsibilities: Support the reliability and efficiency of production operations by maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems across the Pacific site Contribute to a strong safety culture and continuous improvement within the Engineering team Apply problem-solving and technical skills to deliver practical solutions that keep production moving Ōu Pūkenga | About You:The successful applicant will possess the following skills and attributes: Full NZ EWRB Electrical registration and proven industrial experience. PLC, VSD – LV/HV experience would be advantageous Excellent general knowledge of a working production environment Ability to analyse problems and implement effective solutions on a timely basis — we love people who think outside the square! Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and within a smaller team Comfortable working on a roster-based shift pattern in a red-meat processing environment Previous experience in FMCG or transferable production engineering environments would be an advantage, but the key is the ability to work as part of a team and utilise your problem-solving skills to provide top-level service to the processing plant.Te Ahurea /Why work at Silver Fern Farms?
