As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facility's systems and equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented and collaborative professional who can efficiently handle a wide range of maintenance tasks while providing excellent customer service.Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on various building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipmentRespond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficientlyConduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address potential maintenance issues proactivelyOperate and maintain safety systems, including fire alarms and emergency equipmentRead and interpret technical documents, such as blueprints, manuals, and specificationsCollaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all occupantsMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and equipment statusAdhere to all safety protocols and local building codes and regulationsParticipate in ongoing training to stay current with industry best practices and new technologiesAssist in the development and implementation of energy-saving initiatives and sustainable practicesQualificationsProven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or in a similar role, with a minimum of one year of experience preferredProficiency in various building trades, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentryStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical systemsKnowledge of building automation systems and energy managementFamiliarity with safety systems and fire alarm panelsAbility to read and understand blueprints and technical documentationExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in EnglishProficiency in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office and maintenance management softwarePhysical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in confined spacesFlexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as requiredValid UAE work visa or eligibility to obtain oneCollege degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatoryRelevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical) are highly desirableStrong customer service orientation and the ability to work effectively in a team environmentDetail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficientlyAdditional InformationYour Team And Working EnvironmentDynamic working environment.Defined development career path.Friendly and supportive team
