Since 1905, Hydro has turned natural resources into valuable products for people and businesses with focus on a safe and good workplace for our 30,000 employees in more than 140 locations.Job Location: Cressona, PA Hydro employees can enjoy several benefits including:Retention Bonus (for external hires)Medical, Rx, Dental, Disability, Life Insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts Retirement Savings Plans with Company Match/Contributions Education Assistance Bonus Plan Eligibility Referral BonusesParental LeaveOn-site Gym & CaféStarting Rate of pay: $27.75-$40.77/ hourShifts Available and Hours: Night shift, 6pm-6amShift Premium: $1.00/hour extra for shift differentialJob Responsibilities:Successful bidders will be accountable for health, safety and environmental issues related to this position.Install, maintain, and repair all types of electrical and electronic equipment with a constant focus on improving equipment reliability.Work with experienced craftsmen to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary for advancement.Assist as required with performing/assisting other duties as required by customer demand.Diagnoses complex equipment failures, troubleshoots for root cause and develops solutions utilizing a scientific approach with at a minimum the following tools: prints, sketches, manuals, diagnostic equipment, etc. coupled with machinery knowledge and common sense in an efficient and timely manner.Safely troubleshoots, operates, and repairs as necessary complex equipment, including Process Logic Controller systems.Applies knowledge of electrical control, electronic systems, process controllers, industrial instrumentation, and combustion systems.Completes work in a timely manner, often without direct supervision. Ability to organize work for maximum efficiency. Ability to adjust work priorities based on plant needs and business requirements.Accurately document work in a CMMS system.Required Education/Experience:A 2-year Electrical Technical Degree with 1-year practical experience and/or 3-5 years of practical experience in an industrial electrical (or related) setting is desired.
