Maintenance Manager

This pivotal role blends technical innovation with hands-on maintenance leadership to ensure safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement across our Zaandam site.Your key responsibilities will be: Lead, coach, and develop the Technology and Maintenance teams, Provide operational, technical, and customer support for process and product-related issues, Develop and maintain CAPEX and maintenance plans, ensuring timely and budget-compliant execution, Monitor progress and budget for all investment projects and maintenance activities, Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs and work order systems, Manage supplier and contractor performance, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, Actively participate in budgeting and forecasting for capital and maintenance of expenditures, Drive continuous improvement initiatives for safety, reliability, and efficiency. RequirementsBSc/MSc in Process Engineering, Electrical, or Mechanical discipline. 5-8 years of maintenance or engineering experience in a manufacturing setting, 5+ years in a supervisory or leadership role, Knowledge of Process Safety, ATEX, and engineering standards (e.g., NEN 1010, NEN 3140), Proven experience managing CAPEX projects and maintenance programs, Experience in change management is an advantage, Hands-on mentality and team-oriented approach, Knowledge of reliability-oriented maintenance and engineering standards, Strong understanding of Process Safety Management and environmental awareness, Full proficiency in Dutch and English.  BenefitsCompensation up to 110000 euro yearly including, holiday pay and 13th salary, Individual incentive plan, 25 vacation days per year, Holiday allowance of 8%, An annual contract with the intention of permanent employment. A dynamic working environment within an international organization, An open culture in which colleagues help and support each other, A flat organization with short lines where ownership and initiative are valued. NORIT Activated Carbon is one of the global leaders and produces various qualities of activated carbon in its powder and granular form.
