Full-Time | Flights Paid from Perth or Local Hire (Port Hedland) | Reporting to our Haulage Maintenance SuperintendentPlay a key role in workshop operations on a high-performing mining project in WA’s North.The workshop is the heart of the ReGroup business, with over 250 assets making their way through the yard a month, to be successful in this role; you will be someone who is looking for a challenge and has an owner’s mindset with demonstrated leadership experience.Duties And ResponsibilitiesOversee end-to-end Maintenance of heavy road transport equipment (Kenworth road trains and trailers)Manage the procurement and usage of all parts and equipment (internally and between projects Maintenance Planning Team)Responsible for resource allocation within teamEnsure pre-starts, post starts and shut down procedures and checks are conducted in accordance with manufacturer's specifications, safety and site requirementsStrong focus on Safety and LeadershipSound knowledge of all plant and equipmentManagement off all third-party contractors (if applicable to project)Accountable for ensuring the team are correctly opening and closing service jobs as per correct processPrepare and participate in daily toolbox meetingsEssential CriteriaPrevious Supervisory in a workshop or site and ability to run the day-to-day routines within a workshopValid Australian Trade Certification Demonstrated Leadership capabilityAbility to Build Key Relationships with internal and external stakeholdersExcellence communication skillsHands-on experience with planned maintenance, servicing, and repairsExperience in the Resources IndustryCommitment to safetyCurrent Manual HR/MC Drivers Licence (desirable)Ability to pass pre-employment medical and D&AWhat We Can Offer You8:6 FIFO roster (Wednesday AM in, out Tuesday PM)Flights paid from PerthLocal Port Hedland applicants strongly encouraged to apply - weekly local housing allowance granted!
