About The RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance crew and ensure all mobile and fixed mechanical equipment on site is maintained to the highest safety and operational standards. This is a key leadership role focused on equipment reliability, cost control, compliance, and team development. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor the maintenance team, ensuring a culture of safety-first. Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance of mobile and fixed plant equipment. ensure compliance with Company and Clients Management Systems and the relevant statutory regulations; Monitor and maintain accurate service and breakdown records.
Implement cost-effective maintenance strategies without compromising equipment life. Ensure compliance with mine safety, inspection regulations, and environmental procedures. Liaise with suppliers and site personnel to ensure efficient operations. Report on equipment status and performance to management. Minimum Qualifications And Experience Required For This PositionMechanical Trade Certificate/ NCC . Driver’s Licence – Class B. First Aid & CPR Certificate Basic rigging and slinging certification preferred. Minimum 5 years’ underground mining maintenance experience. Strong knowledge of safe mechanical maintenance practices. Hands-on ability to operate mobile equipment for maintenance purposes. Proven leadership, problem-solving, and team communication skills. Send your application and CV by 12 September 2025.
