Job DetailsDescriptionImmediately Hiring!Maintenance Technician in Vaughan, ONShift: This position is for a weekly rotating shift with typical shift hours of Monday – Friday 530am to 3:00pm and the following week 245pm to 100am. Weekends and overtime as needed.Starting Pay is based on experienceFull Time with BenefitsAbout The RoleWe’re seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support equipment reliability and plant operations. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and improving mechanical and electrical systems across departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and maintain plant equipment and utility systemsPerform preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical componentsInstall and calibrate control devices and PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred)Read and follow schematics, blueprints, and technical manualsOperate forklifts, hoists, and other material handling equipmentPromote 5S standards and assist in training team membersPerform basic welding and fabricationComplete tasks independently and support continuous improvementQualifications1 to 3 years related maintenance work experience. Must have knowledge of TDG, FAA, DOT, and IATAMillwright certification, Journeyman or Red Seal credential required.A comparable amount of training, education or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.Respond to 24-hour emergency calls!Knowledge of proper safety techniques and procedures while using chemicals, power tools, hand tools, and equipment; knowledge of proper lifting techniquesOperate heavy equipment.Understanding of building codes and "International Building Code" (IBC)Available to work a rotating schedule of 10 hour shifts, Monday-Friday. Available to work overtime on Saturday as needed or on a regular basis. Sunday work is rare but a possibility depending on the situation.#PPCo
