Cooper Lighting Solutions is a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment throughout the manufacturing siteProvide general production support troubleshooting equipment issuesHandle logic controller programmingParticipate in special projects throughout the facilityMore About YouWhile we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:2+ years’ experience handling maintenance in a manufacturing/fabrication environmentGeneral knowledge of electrical work (3 phase) including motor, panel and conduit planning and installation; electrical certification a plusAbility to safely use and operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in equipment and building repair/maintenance workAbility to meet the physical requirements of the job; performing maintenance on equipment will require bending, stooping, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs; performing facilities maintenance may require climbing a ladder or using a man lift to access plumbing and electrical fixturesExperience troubleshooting and handling equipment repairs including brake presses, CNC turrets, panel benders, etcProven ability to read electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics and symbol knowledgeBasic electronics and advanced control wiring knowledge along with program logic controller programming and troubleshooting knowledge and experienceMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needsEverything we’ll do for youYou can grow a lasting career here.
