Role: Support engineering/retrofit/marketing teams and an internal fleet. Perform diagnostics/repairs, instrument and test development vehicles, and provide hands-on leadership for innovation builds.Key dutiesDiagnose/repair vehicles; triage, root cause, validation road testsInstrument sensors/data loggers; execute and document test plansUse OEM portals (Global-Connect–type) and scan tools (MDI-class)Coordinate schedules/parts with cross-functional teams; keep records and safety standardsEscalate unique/critical issues; support events, demos, and photo/video shootsRequired qualifications8+ years automotive service/diagnostics; independent and professional310S (or equivalent) and G-Class license with clean recordProficient with MDI and OEM service portals; strong mechanical + electronic diagnosticsExperience with vehicle instrumentation & sensorsAble to multitask in a fast shop; strong customer service and basic computer skillsWrecker license and Class D (or higher) driver’s licenseNice to haveEV systems diagnostics (high-voltage safety, battery/drive unit)Intrepid Vehicle Spy (CAN/LIN logging)Natural Gas/Propane Vehicle CertificationPrototype/innovation build experience; prior major North American OEM exposure
