Job DescriptionLocation: Baku, AzerbaijanLanguage: AzerbaijanPosition OverviewThe Major Account Manager (MAM) is responsible for driving strategic sales growth and expanding Fortinet’s footprint within the enterprise and public sectors of Azerbaijan. The MAM will develop long-term trusted relationships with key decision-makers, position Fortinet’s full portfolio of cybersecurity solutions, and achieve assigned revenue and profitability targets.Key Responsibilities Strategic Account Management Develop, manage, and grow relationships with major enterprise and government accounts in Azerbaijan. Build multi-level relationships (executive, technical, procurement) to ensure high customer satisfaction and loyalty. Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities within the account base. Sales Execution Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas for Fortinet solutions and services. Drive the full sales cycle — from lead generation, qualification, and proposal to negotiation and closure. Lead account planning and forecasting with distributors, partners, and technical teams. Business Development Identify new business opportunities across verticals (banking, government, telecom, oil & gas, education, etc.). Collaborate with Fortinet channel partners and distributors to execute go-to-market strategies. Participate in regional marketing events, cybersecurity forums, and customer workshops. Internal Collaboration Work closely with SE (Systems Engineers), Channel Managers, and Marketing to develop tailored account strategies. Provide accurate and timely updates in CRM (Salesforce) regarding pipeline, forecasts, and activities. Contribute feedback from customers and partners to help shape Fortinet’s product and marketing direction.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field (MBA is a plus). Minimum 5 years of enterprise IT or cybersecurity sales experience, with a proven record of quota achievement. Strong understanding of network security technologies (Firewall, SD-WAN, EDR, WAF, NAC, SIEM, etc.). Established relationships with enterprise and government accounts in Azerbaijan. Experience working with channel/distributor ecosystems and tender processes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English, Azerbaijani, and Russian.
