Position TitleOfficer, Quality ControlReports ToSenior Manager, Cargo Terminal OperationsRole PurposeTo perform QC inspection to ensure all cargo handling shipments (Import/ Export/Special Cargo & Transhipment/ Documentation) are handled in accordance with company standard operating manual/procedures, CAAM and other regulatory bodies. Key AccountabilityTo plan and conduct routine QC/inspection function (by using checklist) at terminal operations KLIA (Export, Import, Special Handling, Ramp and CPO) to ensure the compliance on SOPReport on any non-compliance and take picture/compile records as evidence. To prepare inspection report and present the findings in daily operations meeting.
Follow up the status of all corrective action/preventive action and provide status update to management. Conduct prompt investigation on the cargo discrepancies (damage/contour) as requested (by viewing CCTV)To do random sampling Random sampling dimension check for export and transit (for MH AWB)To enforce the full compliance to quality, safety, security, 5S housekeeping at all times (as per IMS procedure)To conduct manpower attendance verification (staff/vendor)To check closely the special cargo handling (DG compliance/EHU/AVI/cold room condition/temperature monitoring) and report any non-compliance.
To conduct random check to verify the form/record using at operations unit. To conduct the warehouse inventory, check on daily basis and take immediate recovery action if shipment remain un-booked or unattended. Maintains proper filing system for all non-compliance and cargo damage reports.
