Your ability to work independently and accurately in a pressurised environment while building interpersonal relationships will be critical for success. Reporting to the Group Financial Manager, you will be required to travel between the three operational sites in the Grabouw/Vyeboom area with your base office in Grabouw.Responsibilities:Support the farming business unit with their financial analysis and improvement initiatives while acting as link between operational and finance departmentsCompile, analyse and interpret monthly management accounts and annual financial statementsFacilitate forecasting and budgeting processCost accounting exercises to support operational KPI’SInternal audit and internal control functionsFormulate activity-based cost and revenue models to improve operational decision-making and profitabilityManage and challenge capital expenditure requirementsReview procurement practices, controls and disciplines to ensure compliance to best practiseEnsure compliance of commercial agreements with regards to supplier warranties, rebates, discounts and payment termsRequirements:Relevant BCom qualification with completed SAIPA/SAICA/CIMA articles5 – 7 Years’ experience in a relevant or similar environmentAdvanced Excel ProficiencyPerforming accurately while in a pressurised/seasonal business environmentAbility to build key interpersonal relationships with stakeholdersDrivers’ license and own transport requiredThe Fruitways Group’s employment equity requirements will be considered in evaluating candidates.
