Our pursuit of excellence empowers New Zealand exporters to compete effectively in global markets.The RoleAs Management Accountant, you will support the Commercial & Administration team by maintaining the integrity of Qube Ports NZ’s finance function. You will assist with accurate and timely preparation of monthly management accounts, forecasts, and key financial information to enable effective planning and decision-making. A fantastic opportunity to grow your career with an industry leader.Key responsibilities include:Ensure P&L entries are accurate, within Company timeframes and maintained to Accounting StandardsReconcile balance sheet recharge/suspense accountsAnalyse financial data and monitor KPI’s for Operations and Executive reportingMeet all month end reporting deadlines as providedAssist with maintaining Fixed Asset Register and monitor CapexPrepare weekly analysis reports for OperationsAssist with forecasting and budgeting as well as key projects throughout the yearAd hoc tasks as requiredWhat We’re Looking For:Qualified Accountant (CA or CPA) with a minimum of 5 years experienceStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectivelyExperience with Oracle or Adaptive preferable but not essentialAdvanced skills using Microsoft Office, Excel & PowerPointAbility to be adaptable to a demanding work environment working in a small teamIdeally seeking someone available to start immediatelyWhat we can offer you:Competitive remuneration packageFully subsidized health insuranceOffice located in the sunny Mount MaunganuiGenerous paid parental leave for eligible employeesWhy QUBE?
