Then read on and apply quickly!Please be aware a good command of the Dutch language is mandatory for this positionThe Water Resources Management (WRM) chair group is looking for an independent management/office assistant to provide administrative support to the secretariat.Your Tasks As a Management/office Assistant IncludeCalendar management;Drafting and maintaining the data management plan;Managing the website and communication;Light administrative tasks such as keeping track of PhD candidates within the group, entering grades, and handling contracts for student assistants;Organizing and taking minutes of meetings;Organizing events;Organizing team-building activities;Assisting with procedures for international employees joining the chair group;Keeping light administrative records such as PhD candidates in the group, grade entry, and student assistant contracts;Welcoming new employees;Assisting the chair holder;Handling orders.For this position, we are looking for someone who is available for 20 hours per week. Our preference is for these hours to be spread over 4 working days (for example, 5 hours per day) to ensure continuity in the office. Alternative working arrangements can be discussed.TeamTogether with your direct colleagues at WRM, you ensure proper coordination of tasks and efficient operation of the secretariat. You communicate clearly and pleasantly (both verbally and in writing) in Dutch (at least B2 level) and English. You also contribute ideas about internal communication and help optimize our internal processes. There is plenty of room for your own input.What You BringA service-oriented attitude;Several years of experience in a similar position, preferably within a university environment;Strong communication skills, integrity, and flexibility;The ability to work in a dynamic work environment;Excellent computer skills;Experience with and affinity for WUR systems such as Osiris, Hora Finita, ProQme, and MobileXpense is an advantage.In our international working environment there is an increasing amount of communication in English. For this position, we are looking for someone who is available for 20 hours a week. Our preference is for 20 hours over 4 working days (for example 5 hours per day). As for your contract, we initially offer a one-year contract that can be extended - if possible within (company) organizational circumstances - on good performance.
