Reporting to the Head of Accessibility, this role oversees engagement with key partners and stakeholders — including the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC), advocacy groups, and city entities — to deliver an inclusive Games that celebrates uniqueness and drives long-term accessibility legacy outcomes.The Manager develops accessibility education programs, experience metrics, and awareness initiatives that advance understanding of accessibility within LA28 and among external partners. This position plays a central role in defining inclusive experience strategies, developing educational resources, and ensuring accessibility is represented across Games communication, branding, and community engagement activities.Key Responsibilities:Inclusive Experience StrategyLead the development and implementation of accessibility and inclusion goals for athletes, spectators, and workforce experiences Define and manage metrics to measure accessibility outcomes and user experience across venues and programs Ensure alignment between accessibility objectives and LA28’s broader legacy, community engagement, and social impact initiatives Partnership and Stakeholder EngagementCoordinate with IPC, USOPC, city agencies, advocacy organizations, and community partners to shape inclusive experiences across the Games Represent ACS in working groups related to fan experience, cultural programs, and legacy initiatives Collaborate with Marketing, Brand, and Communications FAs to ensure accessibility principles are reflected in campaigns and storytelling Education and Awareness ProgramsDesign and oversee accessibility education resources and workshops for internal staff and partners Partner with the Training & Enablement team to develop and deliver accessibility awareness modules across the organization Support the creation of materials and initiatives that celebrate accessibility and disability inclusion through the Games Research, Reporting, and Knowledge SharingTrack, analyze, and report accessibility experience metrics and partnership outcomes Research and apply global best practices from previous Games and major events Contribute to post-Games legacy reporting on accessibility outcomes and community impact Background & Requirements:Knowledge of Federal, state, and local accessibility regulations including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Sections 504 and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and California Building Code (CBC 2022) International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Accessibility Guide and other global accessibility standards and frameworks Event experience planning, community engagement, and legacy program development Communication and education strategies for accessibility and inclusion Olympic and Paralympic Movements, including their accessibility values and stakeholder structures Skills InBuilding and maintaining partnerships with diverse stakeholder groups including government, advocacy, and community organizations Designing and implementing educational content and awareness programs Developing experience measurement tools and analyzing accessibility data Leading collaborative, cross-functional projects with cultural sensitivity and inclusion at the forefront Public speaking, facilitation, and communicating complex accessibility topics clearly Ability To Translate accessibility principles into practical, engaging education and experience programs Build consensus among diverse partners and integrate accessibility across Functional Areas Apply creative thinking to design inclusive, user-centered experiences Represent LA28 effectively in multi-stakeholder forums and community settings Experience5+ years of experience in accessibility and disability, inclusion, education, or experience design Expertise in disability awareness, inclusive storytelling, and accessible communications Experience managing diverse teams and working across multicultural environments Demonstrated experience leading stakeholder engagement or public awareness initiatives Strong knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design frameworks Relationships working with key stakeholders like the International Olympic Committee (IOC), International Paralympic Committee (IPC), and advocacy organizations, with a strong understanding of accessibility expectations during Games-timeMulti-sport or large-scale event experience in education, community engagement, or experience design Comprehensive understanding of the Olympic and Paralympic Movements and their accessibility requirements ExpectationsThe successful candidate:Advocate for Disability Awareness and Accessibility Team player who values the success of the team over self Creative problem-solver and critical thinker Service-oriented and reliable Genuinely curious and ready to think outside of the box Great communicator and unifier Assertive and confident Displays the highest levels of integrity and commitment Enjoys challenges and fast-paced work environments Finds ways to move forward without all the answers Values inclusiveness in all its forms. Fluent working with Office suite products, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Experience with data analytics and reporting tools is a plus Proficiency in project management tools and software. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Ability to work on-site in an open office environment based in Los Angeles, CA      Some travel may be required, both domestically and internationally Working hours may vary to accommodate different time zones in specific regionsThe annual base salary range for this position is $$88,000.00 - $115,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role.
