Built on the back of robust ML technology and fueled by terabytes of data processed every day, Swiggy offers a fast, seamless and reliable delivery experience for millions of customers across India.From starting out as a hyperlocal food delivery service in 2014, to becoming India’s leading on-demand convenience platform today, our capabilities result not only in lightning-fast delivery for customers, but also in a productive and fulfilling experience for our employees.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Partnering:Act as a finance partner to the category, procurement, and supply chain teams, ensuring data-driven decision-making for sustainable growth.Commercial EvaluationsEvaluate vendor pricing strategies, category margins, and bulk procurement deals, construct financial proposals, and lead negotiation discussions.Inventory & Working Capital ManagementDrive inventory planning, working capital efficiency, and cash flow optimization to ensure a financially sound business model.Cost & Process OptimizationWork with supply chain & operations teams to reduce inefficiencies across procurement, warehousing, and logistics. Implement controls to manage shrinkage and wastage.Budgeting & ForecastingOwn the P&L for the new business, lead the annual operating plan, forecasting, and variance analysis, and provide insights to leadership on business profitability & sustainability.Financial & Business AnalyticsSet up MIS, reporting automation, and financial dashboards to track KPIs such as fill rates, inventory turnover, category profitability, and cost per order.Tech & AutomationLeverage BI tools & SQL (preferred) for faster decision-making and process automation in financial reporting.Desired Skills2-6 years of experience in Business Finance, FP&A, or Commercial Finance, preferably in B2B, FMCG, or supply chain-heavy businesses.Master’s in business (Finance/Strategy) or CA preferred.Experience in inventory finance, vendor negotiations, and working capital optimization.Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, ability to work cross-functionally with category, procurement, and operations teams.Ability to own deliverables end-to-end with minimal direction.Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and SQL (preferred)."We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regards to race, colour, religion, sex, disability status, or any other characteristic protected by the law"
