The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in solutioning for on-premises and cloud infrastructure, as well as a strong command of IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) frameworks. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, client-facing communication skills, and program management expertise to ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions that meet business needs.ResponsibilitiesSolution Design & Strategy:Serve as the subject matter expert for IT infrastructure, cloud services, and ITSM/ITOM.Lead the design and architecture of comprehensive IT infrastructure solutions, including hardware, networking, storage, and virtualization.Develop and present technical solution proposals and roadmaps to clients and internal stakeholders.Translate business requirements into technical specifications and project plans.Program & Project Management:Oversee the entire lifecycle of multiple IT infrastructure projects, from initiation to closure.Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.Identify and mitigate project risks, and resolve issues proactively to ensure timely delivery.Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular, transparent project updates.Client & Stakeholder Management:Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal shared services teams.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration.Conduct workshops and presentations to gather requirements and present solution designs.Technical Leadership:Provide guidance and mentorship to project teams on technical best practices.Ensure all solutions adhere to industry standards, security policies, and architectural guidelines.Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends related to cloud, infrastructure, and IT service management.QualificationsExperience:Minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years in a program or senior project management role.Proven experience in designing and implementing solutions for on-premises infrastructure, private, public, and hybrid cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).Demonstrable experience working with clients and shared services teams in a consulting or service delivery capacity.Technical Skills:Deep expertise in ITSM and ITOM principles and tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC, Jira).Strong knowledge of ITIL framework and a proven track record of applying its principles.Experience with infrastructure technologies, including servers (Windows/Linux), storage (SAN/NAS), networking, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and automation tools is a plus.Soft Skills:Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.Education & CertificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.PMP, Prince2, or a similar program/project management certification is highly desirable.Relevant technical certifications from major cloud providers (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) or in ITIL are a significant advantage.QualificationsEqual employment opportunity information KPMG India has a policy of providing equal opportunity for all applicants and employees regardless of their color, caste, religion, age, sex/gender, national origin, citizenship, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability or other legally protected status.
