Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced leader to guide a team within our commercial consulting group. In this role, you will be responsible for team development, project leadership, and maintaining strong client relationships. You will ensure the effective delivery of strategic projects and contribute to the growth and operational success of the practice.Key ResponsibilitiesGuide and develop a group of consultants, fostering their capabilities and career growth to better serve client objectives.Oversee project scheduling, financial planning, and team resources to achieve customer goals with high efficiency.Offer expert direction and mentorship to consulting staff, encouraging professional development while upholding excellence in project delivery.Act as the main liaison for clients, resolving issues, aligning on expectations, and ensuring a positive customer experience.Support new business initiatives by assisting in proposal development, creating client presentations, and helping identify expansion opportunities.Partner with executive leaders on strategy development and operational priorities to ensure team activities support broader organizational goals.Monitor project financials, deadlines, and resource allocation to ensure timely and budget-conscious project completion.Advocate for the consulting team in client meetings and internal decisions, representing team perspectives and project requirements.Enhance team effectiveness and support departmental targets by defining goals, offering constructive input, and maintaining focus on practice objectives.Management DutiesHire, onboard, and manage a team of consultants, offering ongoing feedback, coaching, and professional growth opportunities.Direct, oversee, and evaluate team output to meet functional and operational goals, delivering tangible short-term outcomes for the team and department.Define and communicate team objectives that align with departmental goals; implement performance indicators to monitor achievements.Interpret and communicate policies and procedures to both internal and external stakeholders within your scope of responsibility.Provide regular training, support, and developmental feedback to foster colleague achievement and advancement through consistent coaching and opportunity identification.Play a central role in staffing choices for the team, providing key insights and recommendations.
