Job Description

Job PurposeDesign and develop digital services catering to creation of new business capabilities, maintain and support Business critical applications. Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and issues with quick turn-around-time, collaborate with stakeholders and vendor partners for eventless deliveries.Key result AreasTechnical Skills for Feasibility Studies and delivery: Drive Proof of Concept (POC) and Proof of Technology (POT) evaluation on interoperable technology platforms, Train and mentor developers towards solution development and POC/POT execution.Stakeholder Management Skills: These skills are essential for engaging and gaining support from various stakeholders involved in the digital transformation journey. Work with a diversified team of professionals both onshore, offshore and outsourced/vendor.Manage end to end delivery: Review business requirements against existing and proposed systems and Analysis of functional requirement change through digitalization. Also helping the development team in explaining the Banking concept and to verify for the correct issues resolution/functionality developed by the teamIncident Management: Troubleshoot incident and provide resolution with quick turn-around-time. Perform root cause analysis and avoid recurrence.Regulatory, control & audit Management: Focus on checks & balances for ensuring the adherence of regulatory & audit requirements and also to manage the system downtime, major incidents and staff etc.Learning Agility for Technology Innovations: In a rapidly evolving technological landscape, the ability to quickly learn and apply new innovations is essential for staying competitive. Adhere to organizational policies, standards and best practices in application development, documentation, and maintenance that support the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) following an Agile development approachDesign Thinking practices: Ability to maintain agreed OLA / SLA Implementation of Design Thinking practices in converting the User pain points into Digitization Opportunities to enhance customer experience and achieve tangible operational benefits Process analysis and implementation with high accuracy.Team Collaboration: Collaborate with DBA’s , Enterprise architects ,QA engineers , system engineers, network engineers and other staff to implement developed solution, ensure data integrity, consistency, security and privacy.Strong Analytical Skills: Analyzing business and application data helps in drawing valuable insights that can drive business and cost impacts.Organizing and Leading Vendor engagement: Organizing and leading vendor collaboration and foreseeing smooth delivery of the projects.Digital Expert: Unblocking digital squads during SDLC. Act as digital advisor for stakeholders.Application Ownership: Responsible for infrastructure, security, audit, risk, incident & SLA management, architecture, financials tracking and capacity planning.Knowledge, Skills and Experience4-8 years of experience in building and leading multi-cultural teams across regionsExperience in design, develop, deploy and support global enterprise IT services using agile development and CD/CI frameworkProven experience in leading large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native applications.Hands-on experience with business process modeling, simulation and conducting playback help business in solution preparation/bug fixes, product demonstrations, responding to business requests etc.Design and development of microservices using Spring BootKnowledge of front end frameworks like React Js is a plusEnd-end Customer and stakeholder managementProject & delivery tracking with agile software developmentGood knowledge of banking domainAbility to multi-task in a dynamic work environmentRelevant degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong proficiency in Java/Spring Boot, Node.js. Experience in React JS is a plusHands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).Familiarity with API gateways, service mesh, and observability tools.Experience with Agile/Scrum, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
