As a senior analyst in the Finance & Strategy team, you will be responsible for supporting the financial planning and analysis function across AWX globally. You will assist in providing strategic financial insights, analyzing business performance, and contributing to decision-making processes. Reporting to the Finance & Strategy Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders across Finance to ensure accurate financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.ResponsibilitiesSupport quarterly and annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency to achieve Airwallex’s short & long-term goalsMaintain and update existing reports, models and dashboards for regular financial reporting to stakeholdersAssist in analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial data, providing insights and reports on areas of concern to business partners. Collaborate with stakeholder and business partners to conduct in-depth financial analysis to manage costs, identify optimisation opportunities and evaluate division profitabilitySupport ongoing enhancement of AWX management reporting systemCollaborate with cross-functional finance teams on finance-wide projects and contribute to process improvements opportunities across FinanceWhat You Will Bring4-7 years of relevant experience, with a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. CPA or equivalent advanced finance qualification preferredSound knowledge of financial analysis and planning, especially in budgeting, forecasting, cost allocations, accounting principles and developing financial modelsPrior experience or understanding of financial services and fintech businesses is a plusStrong attention to detail, analytical in nature, with ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear insightsProficiency with G-Suite, Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet tools.
