For an innovative company, situated in the heart of Amsterdam, we are looking for an experienced IT Engineering manager;In this role you will be responsible for;manage, coach, and develop engineering talent to foster growth and performance;improve processes and collaboration across discovery and delivery phases;safeguard technical excellence by promoting best practices (e.g., CI/CD, DORA metrics, clean code, automated testing);ensure sound architectural decisions that balance stability with innovation;collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to transform opportunities and challenges into effective solutions.We are looking for someone with;bachelor’s or master’s level of thinking and working;5–8 years of experience in a technical leadership role;strong knowledge of software engineering, IT systems, and process automation;experience with lean methodologies, process improvement, and quality management;proven experience in technical environments;fluent in English, both spoken and written; Dutch is a plus.The company offers;market-competitive salary based on your knowledge and experience (100-120K per year);25 vacation days (based on 40 hours);hybrid working;travel allowance.
