You will help ensure sound financial management, compliance with IHG policies and local regulations, and provide commercial insights to drive business performance.You will act as a business partner to department heads and management, promoting financial discipline and strategic decision-making while supporting IHG’s purpose of “True Hospitality for Good.”Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & ControlSupport the Director of Finance & Business Support in leading the Finance function across all areas — accounting, financial reporting, cost control, payroll, and audit.Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial statements, forecasts, and reports in line with IHG policies and reporting standards.Maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with IHG Financial Control Framework (FCF) and audit requirements.Safeguard hotel assets through strong control processes and regular balance sheet reviews.Ensure all statutory, tax, and regulatory filings are accurate and completed on time.Business Support & AnalysisPartner with operational leaders to interpret financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and support decision-making.Provide insightful analysis on revenue, cost trends, and profitability to improve business outcomes.Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and business review processes; challenge assumptions and recommend actions to improve margins.Assist with financial modelling and feasibility analysis for key business initiatives and capital projects.Cost Management & EfficiencyMonitor and control departmental expenditure in line with budgetary guidelines.Review and validate purchasing requests and expense approvals to ensure financial discipline.Support cost-saving initiatives and monitor return on investment for operational activities.Financial Planning & ReportingSupport the preparation of the annual budget, monthly forecasts, and owner reports with clear analysis and commentary.Contribute to performance review meetings with management and ownership groups.Develop and maintain financial dashboards, KPIs, and key performance analyses for management use.Team & LeadershipSupervise daily finance operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial transactions.Coach and develop finance colleagues to enhance technical skills, financial understanding, and service mindset.Promote IHG’s leadership values — Do the Right Thing, Show We Care, Aim Higher, Celebrate Difference, and Work Better Together.Stakeholder & Owner RelationsSupport communication with hotel owners on financial matters in a transparent and timely manner.Collaborate with the Cluster / Regional Finance teams on compliance, reporting, and best practice initiatives.Coordinate with external auditors and authorities during audits and reviews.Required Skills & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.Professional qualification (CA / CPA / ACCA / CMA) preferred.Minimum 4–6 years of progressive experience in hotel finance, preferably within an international hospitality group.Strong understanding of hotel financial systems (e.g., SUN, Opera, BirchStreet, PeopleSoft) and internal controls.Analytical, detail-oriented, and commercially minded with the ability to interpret data and influence decisions.At IHG Hotels & Resorts, we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
