Payroll(Finance) - ManagerManage payroll operations, ensure accurate and timely processing and payment of compensation and benefits, and compliance with local regulations and tax lawsEnsure all payroll journal entries on payments, accruals and reversal are correctly posted and reconciledArchive all supporting documents in accordance with the retention policy and ensure compliance with all audit requirements Lead and manage a team of payroll specialists, providing guidance, support, and development opportunitiesClosely monitor the performance of payroll service providers to ensure that Service Level Agreement (SLA) regarding the timeliness and accuracy of payroll processing and deliverables are achieved, while also fostering and sustaining relationships Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to facilitate seamless payroll processes and address any arising issuesManage and resolve employees’ payroll-related issues and discrepancies effectivelyDevelop and implement payroll policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards and local regulationsStay informed about changing regulations and legislation, advising the team and implementing changes as neededAnalyze current payroll processes, challenge the status quo, and drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and deliver exceptional service to customersServe as the subject matter expert for payroll processes across multiple countries, representing the region during assigned projects and/or system implementationsHandle ongoing employee helpdesk inquiries related to payroll, providing clear and effective communication to explain pay, deductions, benefits, and other payroll-related matterResponsible for multitasking and coordinating assigned tasks across multiple countriesBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
