My San Francisco Bay area client has an immediate need for Construction Procurement Professionals. NOT LOOKING FOR PROJECT MANAGER/CONSTRUCTION MANAGER/SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER.This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and East Bay office 3 days per week. Salary is $150K to $210K plus Bonus, Paid Pension and Matching 401K.The Senior Manager, Construction Support Services Strategic Sourcing role is responsible for gathering requirements, developing and executing sourcing strategies that align with the goals of the Construction Support Services portfolio and broader enterprise objectives. This position leads strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier governance to drive performance, cost savings, sustainability, and supplier diversity. The role works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure sourcing activities meet operational needs while identifying opportunities for process improvements, standardization, and increased value. This is a highly collaborative role that plays a key part in strengthening sourcing outcomes and enhancing the client experience within the portfolio.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelops strategic portfolio and category plans to generate cost savings, deliver service excellence, optimizes diversity spending and total cost of ownership for multiple Portfolios across multiple lines of business.Ensures the overall governance of the contract approval process from contract creation through contract award.Oversees contract spend across multiple spend categories in multiple Line of Business (LOBs)Develops short and long term strategies for all spend categories within portfolio for multiple LOBsLeads complex cross-functional teams in the execution of strategic sourcing initiativesManages spend analysis, needs assessment, benchmarking and business case developmentLeads development and execution of negotiation strategiesApproves purchase orders and contracts from$500,000 to $10 millionMonitors and maximize customer satisfaction using standardized client service level agreementsManages continuous improvementEstablishes service level agreements to hold suppliers accountable for performanceDirect reports include multiple Portfolio Managers, Procurement Managers and Category Leads. Through these direct reports, incumbents are responsible for all sourcing activity for the assigned areas of the business.Background QualificationsMinimumBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or other related field.5+ years of STRATEGIC SOURCING AND SPEND ANALYSIS experience for Capital, O&M, and labor budgets.Experience in LARGE construction contracts with deep knowledge in EPC/DB type delivery methods.Ability to lead cross-functional teams is requiredDemonstrated leadership and management skillsAbility to identify and resolve problems and implementation barriers requiredSAP/SRM proficiency desired
