JOB PURPOSE The Manager-Risk Management will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with the organization's operations, with a particular focus on Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Project Risk Management (PRM). The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the Oil and Gas, Construction, and Manufacturing industries. This role demands a strategic thinker with a strong background in risk assessment and mitigation techniques to ensure the organization's resilience and continued growth.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES1. Risk Assessment:Support risk owners to conduct comprehensive risk assessments across all operations, projects, and business units.Identify potential risks, including operational, financial, legal, and reputational risks.Develop risk assessment methodologies and tools tailored to industry-specific challenges.2. Risk Mitigation and Management:Support risk mitigation owners to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address identified risks.Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk management strategies.Coordinate with various departments to ensure compliance with risk management procedure.3. Project Risk Management (PRM):Support risk owner to assess and manage risks associated with large-scale projects in the Oil and Gas, Construction, and Manufacturing sectors.Develop risk management plans for individual projects, including risk registers and mitigation plans.Collaborate with project managers to integrate risk management practices into project planning and execution.4. Business Continuity Management (BCM):Design and implement a comprehensive Business Continuity Plan (BCP) to ensure organizational resilience.Conduct regular BCP drills and training sessions to prepare staff for potential disruptions.Evaluate and update the BCP based on changing business environments and emerging risks.5. Reporting and Documentation:Prepare and present detailed risk reports for senior management and stakeholders.Maintain accurate records of risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and incident reports.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to risk management.6. Training and Awareness:Develop and deliver risk management training programs for employees.Foster a risk-aware culture within the organization through regular communication and awareness campaigns.Provide guidance and support to teams on risk-related matters.JOB REQUIREMENT Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field and with additional professional certification (e.g., CRMP, PMP) is preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management, business continuity management, and project risk management.Prior experience in the Oil and Gas, Chemical, Engineering, Construction, or Manufacturing industries is highly desirable.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Proficiency in risk management software and tools.
