Recognized as one of Singapore’s top 10 fastest growing companies, Hegen takes pride in creating practical solutions that combine thoughtful designs with functionality and sustainability for time-strapped parents.About The RoleThe Manager, Supply Chain Quality Assurance is responsible for leading and strengthening the end-to-end quality management framework across Hegen’s global supply chain network – from suppliers and manufacturers to distribution partners. This role ensures that all materials, components, and finished goods consistently meet regulatory, safety, and brand quality standards, while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. You will lead initiatives to strengthen compliance with regulatory requirements, drive efficiency in quality systems, and elevate the overall customer experience. This is a pivotal role that requires a proactive mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to work cross-functionally to embed quality into every aspect of the business.Responsibilities Quality Strategy & GovernanceDevelop and implement a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with company objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practicesDefine quality KPIs and metrics across product development, production, and supply chain operations. Monitor performance through regular reporting and auditsChampion a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement across all departmentsPartner with senior leadership to align quality goals with business strategy Product Quality ManagementOversee quality product lifecycle from design and development to production and after-salesCollaborate with R&D, Commercial, Customer Success and Supply Chain teams to define quality specifications, testing protocols, and compliance standards for new and existing products.Lead product evaluation, validation, and certification processes to ensure compliance with global safety standards and internal quality benchmarks.Oversee management of non-conformances, product recalls, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) to mitigate quality risks.Partner with design, engineering and production teams to drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement in product design and manufacturability. Supply Quality & ComplianceDevelop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in line with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485)Establish supplier qualification, onboarding, and auditing frameworks to ensure consistent adherence to quality, ethical and environmental standards.Conduct supplier performance reviews and collaborate on corrective action plans to resolve quality issues.Drive supplier development initiatives, fostering partnerships to improve process capability, yield, and reliability.Maintain up-to-date records of supplier certifications, compliance documentation, and audit results. Manufacturing & Operations QualityWork with Production and Operations teams to ensure process control, traceability, and compliance throughout manufacturing.Implement in-process inspection, final product testing, and statistical process control (SPC) measures to ensure product conformity.Lead internal and external quality audits, ensuring compliance with ISO standards or equivalent frameworks (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, GMP). Supply Chain AssuranceOversee quality performance throughout the supply chain, from raw material sourcing to finished goods distribution.Identify and mitigate quality risks related to logistics, warehousing and handling processes.Collaborate with logistics and fulfillment teams to address issues related to product damage, shelf-life, and packaging integrity. Team Leadership & Continuous ImprovementEstablish clear goals and performance indicators, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvementCultivate an inclusive, growth-oriented team environment where innovation and accountability thrive.Lead cross-functional quality improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.Analyze quality data and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.Drive innovation in quality practices through technology adoptionRequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management and/or equivalentAt least 5 years of relevant experience in product and/or supply chain quality management within a manufacturing or consumer goods environment.Proven track record in supplier quality management, compliance, and process improvement initiatives.Deep knowledge of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP) and regulatory compliance frameworkKnowledge in plastics materials, moulding processes, defect analysis, and testing methods.Experience with audit processes and quality toolsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsStrong stakeholder management and relationship building skillsAbility to drive cross-functional communications and influence outcomes in a fast-moving and dynamic environment.Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneouslyDemonstrated experience in leading and developing teamsProficiency in using Quality Management software and Microsoft Office SuiteDemonstrate commitment and responsibility to uphold high levels of quality standards and customer satisfactionAbility to travel on a periodic basis to production factories in Southeast AsiaAt Hegen, we are passionate about fostering a purpose-driven, inclusive and collaborative work environment where every team member can thrive.
