Manager Tax

Key Responsibilities JOB DESCRIPTION Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with business objectives and integrated into corporate planning. Lead standardized tax planning and reporting processes across the organization in line with global regulations and best practices. Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, Shared Services, and Financial Control teams to embed tax considerations into financial operations. Coordinate with SBUs and departments to streamline tax reporting and ensure compliance. Oversee the preparation, review, and submission of local and international tax reports, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. Identify opportunities for tax optimization and cost savings while ensuring full compliance with applicable laws. Manage the end-to-end tax compliance process, including income, sales, property, and payroll taxes. Provide strategic tax advice to senior leadership on business decisions, acquisitions, and structuring. Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring proactive compliance and risk mitigation. Establish and maintain KPIs to measure tax reporting accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. Work cross-functionally with finance, legal, and operations teams to align tax strategies with business initiatives. Propose and manage the annual business plan and budget for the tax function, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Minimum 15 years of experience in tax reporting, ideally within the Oil & Gas sector. At least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role. Strong knowledge of tax laws, accounting standards, financial reporting, and internal controls.
