Join us to find the way.We are looking for a Manager, Training & Assurance, Central Compliance Unit, who will support the Chief Anti Money Laundering Compliance Officer (CAMLCO) and Central Compliance Unit (CCU) in strengthening BRAC’s defenses against money laundering and terrorist financing risks. This position will lead the development and delivery of training and capacity-building initiatives to promote a strong financial crime compliance culture across the organization. The role also ensures staff have a clear understanding of AML/CFT requirements and oversees assurance mechanisms to maintain effective compliance across all projects and programmes.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) compliance strategies by aligning them with national and international regulations and BRAC’s organizational priorities.Prepare and update the annual Training & Capacity Building Plan by aligning activities with CCU’s compliance strategy and BFIU directives.Conduct training needs assessments across departments and field offices to identify staff knowledge gaps in AML/CFT and regulatory compliance.Design and deliver training modules, workshops, e-learning courses, and refresher sessions by tailoring content for management, field staff, and partner NGOs.Coordinate with internal programs, regulators, and external experts to ensure specialized or advanced compliance training is effectively delivered.Maintain a comprehensive training database by documenting attendance, evaluations, certifications, and related training records.Participate in internal assurance reviews by providing feedback and using assurance tools (e.g., checklists, scorecards) to strengthen compliance culture and assess institutional maturity.Maintain and report training materials, participant records, evaluation summaries, and assurance findings by preparing regular reports for CAMLCO/Chief Compliance Officer.Additional Job Requirements:Comprehensive understanding of local and international AML/CFT regulations and best practices.Proven ability to develop and execute compliance strategies in complex and dynamic environments.Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.Safeguarding Responsibilities:Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.Educational Requirements:Graduation in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
